I don't know. I think it was more interesting that the CEO of Chrysler is going to be there. I probably should have mentioned that.I'm pretty sure either the fords or Vettes do a similar thing every year.
I concur. I went to Carlisle back in 2020 or 2021 with a friend who works in marketing for a large corporation. Go-getter, successful. He could not believe that Chrysler did not have any reps there. His take was (I am paraphrasing) "those are your best customers, and you don't show up?!"I don't know. I think it was more interesting that the CEO of Chrysler is going to be there. I really don't care one way or another about parades. I turn down the local "Old Home Days" parade when they ask as parades all sound like a PITA to be in.
Of course, I don't care about the seeing the CEO hawking new electric cars either and won't walk across the field to see her... Maybe if she was hot, but she isn't. But I do find it interesting that she is going to be there as part of the 100th anniversary of Chrysler.

Good for the CEO to be there.
Celebrities do nothing for me either, but some people like that stuff.Gotcha John. I suppose it is a big deal. Not to me. I've never been a gawker of celebrities and new Chrysler is now dead to me.
Exactly!"those are your best customers, and you don't show up?!"
You were NOT there in 2020.
Yes, I was. Arrived Thursday, left Friday.
Recognize the cars and the guy in the photo? If not, remember this?

I really do not recall you showing up the Covid year.
This year, I'll be driving down with @Boydsdodge and @73Coupe, so I don't yet know which route I'll use to bring Ming (my 1973 NYB) from Toronto to Carlisle. Here's what I know:For those that know the area and the roads and current construction - which route is advisable here?

The western route from Bradford down is very rural and two lane roads till I-80. From State College down 322 it's mainly 4 lanes till below Lewistown. Itypically jump off the interstate at the Woodland exit instead of running to Bellefonte. Part of the reason why is because there is an ethanol free gas station in Phillipsburg. For those that know the area and the roads and current construction - which route is advisable here?

@73Coupe and I will start on Wednesday and take the touristic route, overnighting in Niagara Falls on the 9th.
The next morning, @Boydsdodge will pick up @73Coupe on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, cross the border, and meet up with me on the American side.
From there, my thinking was to take the route through Corning, NY and perhaps meet up with @Big_John in Corning -- but @Boydsdodge should chime in as he's an expert on the Toronto-Carlisle route.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but do all (or many) Sheetz gas stations in PA have a red-handle pump with 90 octane zero-ethanol? Pure-gas.org shows where the zero-ethanol stations are, and by the looks of it there isin't much available above 90 or 91 octane. I'd be torn between a 93 - 95 octane 10% ethanol vs 90 octane zero-ethanol.
I'll have to try to remember to check. I don't typically get fuel at Sheetz.Correct me if I'm wrong, but do all (or many) Sheetz gas stations in PA have a red-handle pump with 90 octane zero-ethanol?
