i have seen this modification on door handles before and is found primarily in heavy beer drinking countries like Germany and Australia, the advantage of having them close to the ground is so that when you drag your paralytic *** out to the car you don't have so far to reach up to open the door to drive home.

OMG...my ex and I had that pic made for us! He's the sloped forehead knuckle dragging neanderthal. I'm the cute one in the passenger seat. Bike was modified..really was a 66 harley electra glide. JJ..but not really!
