My top no longer goes up. I suspected that one piston had died a while ago and the second just went this week. I will be able to replace both pistons but I will need to check the hydraulic fluid also.
Does anyone know where this is located?

You will see a plug in the side of the resevoir, fill the fluid until it runs out of the plug. Try to cycle the top to bleed out the air and recheck the fluid. If the hydraulics are air bound, you may have to assist the pump to purge the air by having a helper push the switch while you lift up the top and pull it back down. The only thing that usually goes bad on the cylinders is that they leak, if they are leaking, they should be rebuilt or replaced.

Check out Hydro-E-Lectric website. Go to menu and find How to install top cylinders and pumps. Read all, but pay attention to #6 which tells you to finally “retract the rods INTO the cylinders” for your fluid check. If you do it the other way it will be overfilled and will leak. There is a lot of great information and good parts. Good luck.
