Hey there FCBO hive-mind... a question for y'all.

What product do you recommend to apply to show painted/detailed undercarriage components and floors etc and the engine compartment that allows for easy removal (spray off wipe off) of road grime, oil and rubber/tar from burnouts?

Any experience with a product that can allow someone to enjoy driving and "enjoying" their fresh resto?

I'd use cloth and a spray bottle with soapy water in it like Dawn. Or mix up some Purple Power in the spray bottle with water which is what I use and did use under the truck cab last Wednesday.

If I were wiping down the upper engine I might then use a large pack of microfiber towels from CostCo. Undercarriage I use a box of rags from CostCo. A couple of stiff brushes or even 1/2 - 1 inch poly paint brushes to help stir up the dirt to make it easier to wipe off. I can't keep track of how many of those paint brushes I have used over the decades.
