The shield in the top of the top (1st) pic, or the top of the bottom (2nd) pic? The second pic is what I got for Medina and the TNT, and both fit without issues.
Top of this pic.

After seeing everyone's posts let me inject some clarity. In post #17 the splash shield at the top is what came in the DMT shield kit sold as fitting 69-72 300, Newport, New Yorker. As seen in post #17 the splash shield below in the photo is the original splash shield from my 69 300. The differences are obvious, nothing is similar at all in their configurations. I did test fit my old splash shield on the 72 inner fender. It fit like a charm. The fix is DMT to send me the correct splash shields as shown in the photos provided. First photo is of my original splash shield installed on the 72 inner fender. The second photo is of my 69 300 w/ DMT replacement splash shield. I rest my case.

I thought DMT sold rolls of the material so you could make your own? Only good I guess if you have originals to pattern off of, but a decent work around.

I briefly spoke with Jim at the last Carlisle. He didn’t have much by way of C bodies and I got the impression that our cars had taken a back seat in production. I wouldn’t plan on new tooling for the later models anytime soon.

Morning....is there a chapter in the FSM where it´s exactly shown where all the splash guard where attached on? If so, in what part of the FSM?

David discovered a caveat to the fit: the two parts from the mega set, that are meant to act as control arm splash shields, do NOT fit any 1969 to 1972 Chrysler. While reinstalling the inner fenders, David had the unpleasant surprise that what DMT sent us has little resemblance to the originals that he had on hand from a 1969 Chrysler 300 -- it's not even close, see the pic below. Same for 1972 (pic not shown).

Why DMT sent those two wrong parts is baffling, because their own "A arm & torsion bar" shield sets that I'd ordered trough eBay for other cars of mine worked like a charm -- both on my 1970 TNT 'vert (installed by @david hill last fall) and on my 1971 Dodge Monaco (installed by @71Polara383 in spring 2020).

The photo below makes it clear that the previously ordered part (in other words, one also made by DMT) is what should have been shipped this time around as part of the mega set:

I have reached out to DMT sales, and hopefully they fix the issue. @saforwardlook @sixpkrt

There's been a couple threads on this and noticed the fitment problem is with the convertible.

So, I was looking at them in the parts book and here's what I found.

The part number for the A-arm shields is 2935339 for the Chrysler convertible and wagon in 1970, all the C-bodies in 1969. 2935338 is the part number for 1970 C-body hardtops and sedans except the Plymouths.

2935339 also fits 1970 Plymouths too.

I would say that is because the 'vert used the same stub frame as the '69.

Hello everyone,

Since their kit is advertised as for 1969-1971, this begs the question of what is different about 1973 AND 1972. Why am I interested in the answer? Well, Buttercup's splash shields are still there but getting worn, so a new set would be a good addition to the engine bay. @All-American if you do decide to be the guinea pig, I'll be interested in what you find out and let us know. I am pretty sure that Mr. Fillmore might be as well -- he might sell a partial set for the parts that would still fit.
I bought that set but they dont quite fit a '69 300. I made them work. He also sells uncut sheets if you want to make your own.

I had no issue with the fitment on my 70. It's been a few years... But as I remember, the replacement was just like the shield in the top of the pic. I'm trying to remember if the original shields were on the car and I think they were, although a lot of the others were missing.
Does not fit correctly on the 69 300 convertible. The pin holes were correct but they part over the a arms is not even close. I installed anyway because i had nothing but some old clips.

Yep, read post #25.

My car doesn't have the original stub frame and the hardtop pieces fit. I didn't realize that it was an issue or I wouldn't have posted that. Too late to edit the post or I would.

No problem just letting you know. I used them anyway with some modification. Heres a picture.

On my 73 Monaco the front splash shield was hanging down. I unclipped it and traced it onto a piece of 1/8" (IIRC) rubber belting that I bought at my local NAPA. I cut it out and punched the holes in it and it looks great. I imagine the cost was less also. I use the 1/4" belting under all my car batteries.

My originals were hooked on the outside, so someone before me screwed up haha. Thanks for the tip.
