Door striker question

There is a chewed up movable metal sleeve on my door striker that I would like to replace on my 69 Fury III 2 door. If I take the allen screw all the way out,will something fall out from the other side,requiring me to remove the rear interior side panel?

No the plate that is n the jamb has a captive frame holding it in place.
No worry about pulling them off.

This is the rusty one from my car, the bent piece on the large section is normally attached capturing the smaller piece (with the cutoff striker stud)

Thanks Alan. The FSM shows the striker pin threaded on the end of course but the rest is unclear. Thanks again.

Found some pieces at a junkyard.

Alan,Found some pieces at a yard for $3. Door closes good now and I have an extra.
