I have an odd one I could use some feedback on. 1970 Three Hundred with two paint codes on the fender tag EW1 Spinnaker White AND ER6 Scorch Red. Everything on the body and engine bay looks like Scorch Red but the car has what seems an original EW1 Spinnaker White paint job that is very similar but not the same as the Hurst. Everything I can find says the dual paint was exclusive to the Hurst. What am I missing?

White interior? The second paint code is the door color.

Show us the tag. Does it have a painted roof ?

This statement confuses me
"Everything on the body and engine bay looks like Scorch Red but the car has what seems an original EW1 Spinnaker White paint job "

Should have posted this previously so you all could correct my decoding skills with the various online tools. White interior, white vinyl top, white Hurst-like stripes. Apologize for the previous confusion, both colors seem to be original but unknown if it was painted later to copy the Hurst.

Your car had a ER6 red body, V1W full white vinyl top.

The EW1 is white upper door frame paint.

The "hurst" white hood treatment and upper body paint has been added. It just follows body lines so it's an easy thing to do. Looks good on there and goes well with white interior.

That has to be a repaint. Chrysler never offered that paint scheme.

The red does match the ER6 code. The EW1 code would be for the painted interior doors, M6XW is the white interior.

I don't hate it LOL. almost the Ramchargers or Sox and Martin (if some blue stripes added) look.

That EW1 for the interior doors was my screw up. Thanks all. I thought it was a good look also. This is a running driving car but it does need headliner and a head to toe going over and wanted to get my facts together before driving 3hrs to see it.

Yes must go and look it over. Nice it's a 440. Good looking car and in decent shape. Could clean that one up.

Needs a different whee/tire look
