It was mentioned elsewhere about a four speed owner "club", then asked if this club had a list. I know of none, so I thought I'd start one.

If you have a four speed C body car, please add your cars info, and if possible, a picture of that car. Have more than one, add them both/all. I think it would be nice to see how many members have a stick shift C body.

For now I am the caretaker of this 1965 Chrysler 300. Originally a 383, but now a 413. Came up to Alberta in 2006 from Danville, CA.

I made it a sticky. Cool stuff.

I saw one recently that absolutely blew my mind. 1965 Chrysler 4 door hdtp with a 413, console 4 spd in black with a white painted top and a tan interior.:wideyed:

Mine:
Owned since 1992. I've done a lot to it, obviously not enough, and not much lately. Major thing I've done is kept it indoors and from deteriorating any further.
383-4 and 3.91 gears - so much fun!
Maybe one day I'll drive it again - need to do it near the end so they see me smile in my casket.

My one is an unrestored 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury with original paint, assembled on 12/31/1964 and shipped on 01/04/1965 to Marion Burnside, Columbia, SC:

Sport Fury 2-Door Hardtop $2.960,-

61 - 383ci 4-bbl Commando 330HP $ 122,10

363 - 4-Speed M/T $ 187,95

592 - 3,23:1 Rear Axle Ratio Sure Grip $ 49,70

42 - 8.25 x 14 Whitewalls $ 41,75

542 - Tinted Windshield $ 21,60

539 - Windshield Washers and var. speed-wipers $ 17,30

plus Destination Charge

You looked in vain for a rev counter, exterior mirrors, radio or seat belts when the plain white coupe left the factory

My car came with a 383 4bbl, 4 speed, 3.23 gear, and an AM radio/reverb speaker for options. I can't imagine a housewife in the 60's or 70's parking it, it takes a lot of strength with manual steering. Kind of a weird niche car, big and clunky with no options.

Nice car. Is the reverb tank still installed under the package tray? If so, can you post pics of the installation - showing the mountig brackets etc.? It will take some contortionist moves and you'll need to remove the spare tire to get in there, but would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, sorry but all that was left when I got the car was a speaker frame with no paper.
What did the tank look like?

Does Govier or Chrysler Historical look up IBM cards based on VIN?

Stelanis Historical will provide you a copy of a photo of your IBM card for your 1967 and older vehicle(s) after you provide a photo copy of your title. They don't have any records after that, they may claim they lost them in a fire, but they don't have anything newer.

Galen? I wouldn't waste my time or money.
