Will going through the standard/optional equipment documents at www.hamtramck-historical.com have those same codes in them? Might some of these codes be the same as for non-C-body cars, but with different equipment involved (as in the power front disc/10" rear drum situation)?

Just curious,

Codes can vary by make and line. A01 in a Valiant will be different than A01 in an Imperial. If you are looking for a specific code, make sure to reference the right make.

Would anyone know what C11 & R55
stand for on a fender tag for a 1973 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham?
The decoder I used said “unknown at this time.” Thanks guys

Can you post a picture of the tag?

IF not, is the C11 the second code from the left on the second line from the top or is the code on the second line from the bottom?
On what line from the top is the R55?

R35 and G11 if I read correctly. Fancy radio, all tinted glass.

Is the tag CS23T3C240802 or CS23T3C240862 ?

You have the B41 option which is power brakes with front discs and rear drums.

PS: Do you have interior photos of CM27K9C163596 ? I like the exterior pics you posted here.

Your C11 is actually G11 with the 'tail' missing off of the G. We know this due to two reasons.
1) Compare how high the right side of the character comes up compared to the actual Cs on the bottom line in CS and T3C. Compare the curve of the left side of the stamp to the same Cs. It's not a C. It's a G.
2) This is the place on the tag where the Jefferson plant coded G11. This missing tail on the G misstamp is common and often seen on St. Louis plant (plant G) tags.

R35 = AM/FM stereo radio. Post '71 codes are often missing from online decoders

I was dissatisfied with the upholstery. I was told she was very good. I guess at 80 she lost her touch. $2000 later i can use it anyway.

Thank you very much for the help! Both of those codes make sense.
