I had hoped for this to happen over the winter... but it was a busy year for body shops with the bad weather and my place of choice put me off for a few months.

I took the car over last weekend and they've been busy.

They've stripped the fenders and plugged some extra trim holes. The fender braces had the typical rust and they fixed that.

More pictures to come!

Good to see some progress, you must be excited. This'll be a good one to watch!

Stopped by the body shop today. Fenders are almost done and the hood has been stripped and being worked on.

The shop owner promised me he email a bunch of other pics he took. I'll post some of them when I get them.

The shop owner sent me some pics today.

This is how the car looked when I brought it over.

Fenders were pretty good.

Typical rust in the lower inner brace.

Cut away and replaced.

The hood had been replaced with a '71 and had some extra emblem holes in the front. These were filled.

The deck lid was a bit of a surprise. The lip showed a bit of rust on the lip that didn't show until it was blasted. It was cut away and fixed.

What shade of black are you gonna paint her?

While I'd love to have that car painted black, I swore off black cars a while ago. Too much work and I want this car to be more fun than work.

The previous owner had that top done by Legendary and it really does go well with the car.
