The Admiral, (69 Plymouth Fury), seems to have been releved of the cable and housing assy that controls the fresh air doors in both left and right A pillers.

I suspect that most 69-70 C bodys used them. Mine is a factory A/C car but I don't know if that matters.

Would like to find one or both.

if it had air you didnt get the right side floor vent. Pull the kick panel and check, your going to need the door assembly too, I presume.

69 - 71 Fury / 71 Polara /Monaco should do it

I know my 68 fury has vents on both sides. I need the holder mount part under the steering wheel, it was so brittle it crumbled in my hands, and now the control cables lay on the floor until I rig something up. a no A/C car.

I parted a 69 Polara with AC that had both vents.

I checked the Admiral and it has a fresh air door on the driver side, but not on the passenger side. I can see the fastener witness marks on the left lower dash where the cable bracket was mounted. The right side mount pad shows no indication there was ever a bracket mounted.

Jazabelle is a factory A/C car and has fresh air doors on both sides. The actuator handles are mounted near the map light on the IP.

I guess what I need is the left side, lower dash mounted cable and housing from a non air, or factory a/c car.

My 300 is a factory a/c car with fresh air vents on driver and passenger side.
My car doesn't have window vents, I have been told that factory a/c cars didn't come with window vents in '69, can anyone else confirm this?

On hardtops and four doors it depended on which A/C system was installed The H51 equipped cars came with vent glass, all others, no.
All convertibles came with the vent glass.

Dang......I'm impressed daily with the knowledge on this forum!!!

I think that was a later thing, (after 69), both the parts car (a 4-door hardtop) and my CHP project (a 69 4-door sedan) are AC cars and have vent windows.

The ventless glass started with the 1969 intro of the fuselodge cars Alan.

The 1969 Car & Equipment book states .....
H51 single unit (includes ventless front windows on 2 door hardtops).
"H53 - auto temp, single unit (includes ventless front windows on two door hardtops.)
All dual units required (9:15 x 15 tires).

It seems that all 1969 2 door hardtop Chryslers and Imperials equipped with any type of A/C were equipped with ventless door glass. And all 4 door and convertible used the vent glass.

Things may have changed as the years went on....

Will.
