Front brake hose routing

I see a couple threads on hose length issues. Mine seem short, and are on the front drums, coming off the wheel cylinder in the front. But, they then run up on the back side of the frame bracket, and have a terrible bend back down to the bracket. I am wondering if someone plumbed them wrong, and they should come up to the front bottom side of said bracket, and not have the tight bend and be pretty tight overall. Any thoughts appreciated....the new ones are to measure at the same length, just under 14 inches. I also wonder if the new hoses will have new crush washer and the bracket clip.....betting NOT.

This am, I began, and found that there was enough crud on the bracket that I had not seen a bolt. So, I am a happy guy. Removed the bracket, did some shanker mechanics, and bent the steel line a tweak, and how about me now.....no horrible crimp in the hose now.
