Front end rebuild kit 66' 300

BUY IT , Try it, and get stuck with it then…..Don’t let me stop you….

I have said 500,000 times that if I received ONE PENNY for each WRONG LISTING that rock auto has , they would owe me more than One Million Dollars…..

Look at the picture of it —- can’t you S E E that it is 1000 %
WRONG ?????????
Its not just Rockauto. The applications for the part show many with "screw in ball joint". Im asking for your clarification... you hit me with the disagree button. Thats not help. To each his own i guess?

Rock Auto is just a broker, best I can tell. Their "catalogs" come from the companies whose parts they sell, NOT generated by Rock Auto. When you click on the "INFO" icon and get to the second page, click on the vendor's icon and get into THEIR (the vendor's) catalog directly.

FWIW,

The C body lower ball joint looks like an Aladdin’s lamp if you will. It is one piece, nothing screws in or out. A Fury lower ball joint will also fit Polara, Monaco, Newport, New Yorker & 300 with drum brakes. The disc brake lower ball joint is similar but larger. It too fits across all C body model lines as long as it is a disc brake equipped car. A, B, & E body lower ball joints are smaller. Hope this helps.

As mrfury68 points out above —- and he is clearly one of the smartest people on this site…

The 1965 - 1973 “ C “ body LOWER BALL JOINT ** ASSEMBLY **
Is a one piece unit , approximately 12 “ Long —- and the
Ball Joint part/ component is part of the 1 - piece Complete Assembly — ONLY —-
And it fits 1965 , 1966 - 1968 w / Drum Brakes , and 1969 - 1973 —- ALL —- with Drum and Disc Brakes….ONLY …….

The 1966 - 1968 “ C “ Body with the BUDD System DISC BRAKES —- uses a much larger unit , different contour to wrap around the Four Piston Caliper , and is twice the weight and bolt in points for the security of “ not falling out “ …..

The K719 MOOG ( Obsolete / Discontinued) , which Mevotech
( Chineseum ) “ stole “ their number , and call it an MK719 or their cheaper version , a GK719 , from 1963 — through — 2025
Fits — ONLY — some of the models of the “ B “ and “ E “ bodies where they used a THREADED LOWER BALL JOINT — LOWER BALL JOINT — in 1973 ONLY….

While it “ looks “ like an Upper Ball Joint , the shaft is much thicker than the conventional Upper Ball Joints…..

I have taken the time to 100 % inform you —- in a college professor’s dialog —- and not a 1st grade teacher —- so , if anyone doesn’t understand now —- read it twice….

Yours, Craig…..

Incidentally, I HAVE fixed stupid 186,000 times already !!!
( Especially Ford and Corvette people … )
( I do like intelligent people more —- and have made some people just that !!! )

I thought the Movetec MK719 and lesser GK719 were an equivalent to the moog k727. Im thinking thats the Imperial joint, and Imperial only (now). Thats why i asked Craig for some clarification regarding the OP and his lack of info (re the supplier). Im not sure if calling people stupid was directed at me, but i dont feel stupid for asking.... i like to try and expand my knowledge base.... i would never miss the opportunity to help....im not going to be talking down to anyone.

No , the “ you can’t fix stupid “ was NOT directed at you —- that was a general statement on how many people I have helped whom otherwise were given up on by others….

A K727 MOOG ( the Imperial Upper Ball Joint ) can be purchased in the Chineseum world by an MK727 Mevotech … they once again “ steal “ MOOG’s number…..

And CBarge ( Thank You ) is right…. I know 5 billion part numbers by heart ( Having been directly involved with Antique and Classic Car Parts for 54 years , and GOD has blessed me with some incredible ability… I have worked extremely diligently to have the ultimate level of intelligence and knowledge…. )

Since I have a serious head start on anyone on the planet ,
the Great News is that I am willing to share my wares with all of you……I have spent a lot of time and a serious boatload of money to have a massive inventory…..( Certain items —- I have to grab them IF I find them….. )
Craig…..
