Fuel filter question

I started to remove the Carter Thermoquad & realized I forgot to buy a fuel filter. I replumbed it from the tank to the fuel pump with 3/8 aluminum line & was going to add a inline filter just forgot. So I can installone here at the carb. Does anyone know a part # for filter that screws into a Carter carb & my fuel line?

You could. If it's screw in I wouldn't see a problem. Otherwise I personally wouldn't install a filter above the exhaust manifolds.

Not yet. It's a work in progress. Just plumbed it. I usually add one between the pump & carb

Cut the line bulge the ends and slip a filter in right next to the carb behind the dizzy.

No I d t have any converters save a couple of Stock units

Today is a perfect example of how things go. I got the Thermoquad back together but did not get it installed. Busy with buying the Land Shark from Boomer & the other car I looked at. Also I made a deal on that 61 Oldsmobile over a month ago just haven't picked it up yet. Hopefully soon. And still trying to get the 65 Ford wagon. The Olds will hopefully be here in the next few weeks.
