fuel pump:

I got a Carter from RockAuto for my '65 and it says "Made in USA" on the box. Now whether or not it's made out of Chinese parts I don't know.

I've had no problems with the Carter. Remember to check the pushrod while you're in there... (ask me how I know).

Yeah, you wouldn't think that the push rod would wear down enough that the pump doesn't work, but they sure do.

I Second that. Put a new high flow elbrock (never can spell that) in mine. Any way discovered my pump rod was over 1/4 short when she kept running out of fuel in a harder acceleration. Motor only had 51k on it at the time.

Get Union buzzed.

I tried to change the fuel pump last weekend, but had to stop because there were too many hornets that built their home underneath my car. I did switch one of my spindles for the 73 disk brake spindles that I have. It is finally getting cooler here in south Florida.:yaayy:
