Good and Reasonable minor body and Paint work in Mid-Atlantic Area

I have a 1968 Fury Convertible and need some basic body work (maybe a patch panel) , strip down and repaint job. nothing car show quality just a good every week driver job that wont bankrupt me.

anyone know of someone near the DC-MD-VA area that does good yet reasonable work?

I don't know any shops personally but a couple notes... Stripping and repainting is hard to quote because you never know what's really under the paint (unless you own the car since new). Plus, depending on the color and materials, the paint costs can be high if good product is used. Cheaper product generally takes more material to get the same result. So I'm not sure where your target number is, but I'd expect to be paying between $4K-6K for the car to be stripped, etch primed, primed, blocked, two stage paint (base & clear), and a quickie cut and buff deal. Potentially more if any rust or dents are present or uncovered.
