Has the lowest-mileage 1970 Road Runner been found in an Ohio garage?

quote:VanDamia said the car has an estimated sale value of at least $175,000: quote.

Sell it and buy 2 or 3 super driver mopars .
That's my line of thought, but only 2 or 3? I'd have my fleet of a half dozen with that much money!

Well I guess I would buy a Fusie GT and Road Runner 440 4 speed but for some reason reluctant to consider a Cuda or Challenger cause I see too many. 66 Coronet 4 Speed Hemi comes to mind. I am speaking of top quality stuff ,,maybe 4 or 5? What would you guys pick with that budget of 175000.00???

The best 69 Hemi Super Bee with a 4 speed and Super Trac Pac on the planet.

A nice down payment on a decent piece of property with a 4 thousand sq ft building that I could move my shop and current collection into. Oh and a house for my darling wife.:)

This dentist doesn’t need to worry about $$$
It may be better that it gets the indoor storage it needs to be preserved

I know I will probably never have to worry about this problem to drive it or not, but if you have to cash to buy it in the first place I would have to drive the piss out of it, bang shifting the 4 speed and loving every minute of it. If it breaks you have the funds to fix it.

I suppose I would let the experts document every area of the car so they know how they where put together and other less complete cars could be restored. There are books with all the markings, but seeing one in person is different. Then you have to drive away in a cloud of tire smoke:rofl:

There are a place for museum pieces, and guys who are nut and bolt matching types.
The dentist is probably one of those guys, so it went to the right home.
Even if I had F/U money, preservation of that one would probably be the cool thing to do.
With the money from that sale though, a guy could be tearing up the street and track with a couple restored deals.
Nice car though for sure, The intake area sure must have had some high critter activity to get so dirty.

Very cool car but I'd rather have Steve's 28K original mile '60 F.

I'd take a letter car over mostly anything too.
The styling and design details of any thing from 57 up are just mesmerizing.
Who is Steve? Would like to look up his garage.

I would like to find an ultra low mileage Foward Look DeSoto convertible and drive the tires off ion fair weather days.

When does a car become a survivor, my 13 Challenger has 5k on the odometer, I love driving it. Job and life get in the way, maybe that's all that happened to the original owner, then he passed. I enjoy driving it when I dooo, it's like the first day a purchased the beast.

You guys are diverting from the real intent....to enjoy the car. Once you start worrying abt value/money the fun drains out of it and you start to see it as work.

Agreed, a nice problem to have but that's what it is. By purchasing such a car you are obligated (moral standards) to keep it preserved in original condition.
