Heading to AZ in January

The problem with going to BJ on Saturday is the crowd. It's wall to wall people. Fridays are pretty good in the morning and early afternoon. We get there at 8:00 when the gates open and usually leave around 2-3 pm. As we're leaving we feel like salmon swimming upstream through all the people arriving. Either way it's a great show, just a little too peopley sometimes.

I'm still brainstorming, I would like to get out there and spend some time with you Chris... another car guy and, more importantly, another C Body guy... I suspect we would connect a little more on which cars made us perk up.

In Kissimmee, my buddy Mikey, spent over an hour running from POS 80's F body GM to POS 70's A body GM before I got him to look at something he never saw before.

I am still trying to figure out a side trip to Cali to see Steve too...

I want to go to B-J before I get too old. I might even drive there since I'm retired and dont have a time schedule as anymore except for med appts.

I did update my shipping post, just to better reflect forum activity today...

Last trip I bought a $10 suitcase at Goodwill and shipped home a loaded booster, and rear rotors off a 75 Imperial... TSA left little "We were here" notes in my luggage for the first time that trip.

Fly and drive Carlisle, I shipped home the cheap cube cooler full of parts as checked luggage at the airport. Frontier didn't even charge me an oversize fee with the package I had purchased.

This time around, IDK what, if anything will have to come home. I can probably put my brother out enough to help if necessary.

Lotta $ for ah cross the country trip Bob just to sit in the grand standz and watch the "FAT CATZ" get stupid with their Chain Drive Billfoldz. Mama and I flew out there primarily because we were members in the Western 300 Club and the friend that bought my 300 Hurst used to host a winter 300 meet in Mesa in conjunction with the B.J. Auction. Ah 5 day party with a lotta car-budz for us to fly from Detroit at that time, NBD. lol, Jer

Ain't much tah see Bob of White Sandz goin' by on US 54 'Less you get past the Front Gate? And you might have those credentials I'd suspect? Might just az well cruise up to Roswell and look at Area 54 from afar, lol

I use to smoke 3-4 packs a day. I went to a group hypnosis seminar with a thousand other people when I got back from Iraq in 1992. One 3 hour session and i never smoked another cigarette. I quit drinking a month later. I was just a social drinker. Weekends as ns special events.

Have ah story 'bout ah crazy trip one time from Roswell down to Las Cruces I made where I almost sent ah stupid 4 wheeler in the front gate at White Sandz for doin' stupid when I waz in the mile long up and down speed bumps comin' south out of the mountainz on 54. Save that one for bench racing 'n beer this July, Jer
