Wow gentlemen and ladies. Thnak you fprmthe responses. Its an original sheet metal car. Car was originally owned by a wealthy family who kept it on nantucket island at their vacation home. It was sold to an attorney in indiana. Attorney sold it. Ended up with a gentlemen in kankakee illinois. At the the time i acquired it I owned a 74 corvette l48 4 speed car. Nice driver quality vette. Never owned a mopar before. Not a brand loyal guy when it comes to hotrods. Cool is cool to me. Never had an old mopar or convertible. Guy who owned was a vette guy. Had a c5 in the driveway. The man said it had a "weak a$$" 318 and was too slow. Said he just tuned it up and it ran like crap. Took it for a spin new timing on points were off and it should have way more power traded him straight up. Took it home ordered an electronic ignition distributor set timing properly. Now it smokes the tires. Love that! Believe it or not got the vette the same way. Vette ran like junk too had a bad hei module. someone threw a msd hei on the corvette had the timing set off on that too. Sorry for,the long winded rant. 318 auto everything works on it but the clock. 106000 original. Rebuilt .030 over with hardened valve seats. Traded the vette because I am a family man now. Cant take the wifey and daughter with car seat in a vette. This is the only classic car that i can honestly say I like being driven in more than driving. Thank you all for the huge response!
