Hello Everyone,
I need a 72 400 cid warranty block or engine casting number 3614230. Or if you are a miracle worker engine VIN with the alpha numeric code being "2A 121700". Let me know.
Regards,
Johnnie

What do you need a 400 for....?

Thanks, I will gladly do that, if I can find the block.

what are you going to do if you don't find a warranty block?

side story. I tracked the original owner of my 70 RR down years ago and he told me he blew up the original motor in the first 12 mths. So I've never been encumbered by numbers matching with it and never looked for a replacement block. By the time I bought it it had another motor in it that was toast. I have an big rod 70 HP2 motor in it now.

The RR is a A31 package 3.91 geared 4 speed car and funny thing was when they replaced the motor they forgot the drain plug or forgot to fill it with oil so the replacement motor seized on the way home and they put in another .. well that was the story anyway. He swapped out the 3.91s with a buddy for a 2.76 rear (large U joint) and traded it off and that's the rear that was still in it when I got it.

I would like to restore this S/E to as close as OE as I can. I was told that there were only 147 big block 4 speed S/E's made. Mine is equipped with PDB, AC, Bucket seats w/console, Ron told me that I should ask a Mopar numbers Guru to find out how many were made with this color/equipment combo. Either way I want to get this S/E back on the road.
