Here we go again...

View attachment 135068 Hey Dave your car hasn't been lonely at all. it acquired a few friends in the last few months in my back yard lol. my wife will be so happy when the Imperial and New Yorker Move on. I can't wait to meet you !
I see that, awesome thought she might be lonely, getting down to the wire...still working on the Hummin Cummins, exhaust repair, fresh Rotella synthetic 5/40, trans cooler line repair etc etc trying to make sure she'll make the big trip lol
P.S. you wont be grumpy when I get there with the apple pie moonshine :)
Trying to get out of here Monday morning

That goes for many of us afficted with this disease...

I will admit, just this week I convinced my cousin who is a farmer, to let me turn an open end of an old shop with a concrete floor into a extra storage for me. My area will be 24 x 20 enclosed, plenty of room for a couple of c-bodies and spare parts. :)

There's some things you can't do in the drive-thru. It was a 7 1/2 hr drive.

Yeah I had other business to take care of.

So I didn't get home till midnight last night. 18 hours from door to door and a lot of gas......the 360 is a great pulling engine but not a great gas sipper.

I stopped for gas once on the way up and 5 times on the way back....

As with any Canadian I started and finished my road trip at Tim's......

The $400 ram did it's 951 mile tow job beautifully through the hills and mountains.

Unless Fury quarters are much straighter in profile than Polara quarters that right quarter has been worked on. But I agree overall a nice score.

Yup they are straight. Sooooo straight, when you have to do bodywork, it's 8 feet of flat panel, sheeesh.

Now that I've teased you......

You know I love a good story...

Here's how it goes, my friend saw an ad on Kijjjiji, I called the guy we settled on a number, he bought it from another guy who's dad had it and was restoring it a number of years ago when he got sick and ultimately passed away. It was scrap destined when the guy I got it from purchased it and saved it. Overall it's horrible, the body is mostly filler and rust...

Its lead an interesting life and parts of it will live on vicariously through my Fury...

On a side note with you guys giving me **** for not getting my last parts car running, I spent about an hour this morning and borrowed parts from the 73 and got this one running. It runs well..

As a side note I stopped in to show my dad and he found the fact that I reached in and fired it up hilarious, the fact to top worked he also found funny.

He had me go look at a car he wants to buy....I test drove it and it does go like stink, LM1 350 4 barrel and M21 4spd..
