Another thing a lot of folks miss is the 1980-82 two doors had a belt line restyle. They where more squared off & boxy. Where mine was the 77-79 boat tail style. Compare the trunks of mine & the original posters car

You know I hear a lot of folks say that. Never knew they made them in 2 door. Funny thing is these cars came out when I was in high school. 77-78 ish. There where more 2 doors running around than 4 back then. That includes the Volare/Aspen cars. Now today 4 doors are about all you see.

I've always seen and recall all the other body styles of this era as two and four doors including your boat tail style ... just don't recall the dippy two doors. Obviously not doubting they exist. I think the only dippys that ever registered with me were the cop cars so I just recall the 4 doors.

When these cars were brand new, I used to park near a mint green one at work. Every morning I would see this car and never liked the looks of it. There weren't a lot of them around and most of them seemed to be the same color. I always think of that car when I see one.

Now they are starting to really grow on me. Maybe it's because I'm seeing different color versions. This black one is really got me thinking...

Of course, and A T bar roof. Another car that I was fond of when I was a kid.
Since I'm thinking about it I probably wanted one of everything Chrysler built until the late 80s
