My point is indeed that. Ragtops tend to be garaged/carported/stored indoors far more so than other body styles. Very seldom does one find a mint wagon lovingly stashed away.
As a percentage of total production, I've postulated that more convertibles exist versus other available body styles for any given make/model/year. This obviously doesn't apply to cars where no convertible was available. So far, I have seen nothing to change that POV. Interesting discussion, regardless.
