Let's see a picture of the fender tag.....never mind! Take a zero off the asking price!

One often cited Thing you still see in that example. They were considered Special even in 1980 when it was hit hard to be stored away for decades to "fix up some time". That's why so many are still around. I doubt a Newport would have had the same luck in it's place.

And somebody will say that it needs to be saved. They've repaired worse...

I see a nice rickshaw in that.

Good thing Craig's list adds don't cost much. Only thing salvageable on that piece of crap is the deck lid. I'd have it unbolted and ready to go to Carlisle in the spring. No seats, no tnt engine, no front half... ooooooh the console is still there! Whoop Dee DO, I think they made like two million of that style console from 66 to 74. ....aside from the deck lid this could be any one of thousands of Newports. Good luck bub.

no, the console is rare. It is a new styled 1970 console used on the Full size Chrysler/Dodges (not Plymouth in 1970).

So the console, decklid and outer rear corners are valuabke on this car

For around 1500-2000 it would make a great project. Find a 70 300 donor car and go to town. It would never command the price of a numbers matching car. If you've always wanted a Hurst 300 and want a project there is the car for you. The ad is pretty honest about what is there and what isn't. A far better project and price then the dreaded 6 Pack Fury that someone who shall remain nameless tries to sell.

It came from a polara convertible. I considered putting it in my conv since it has the Fury console top but I like the Fury one better

I think......

What's different about them, maybe I'm wrong. Have any pics?
