Me too James, but with 3 side draft Webers hangin' on the /6, even az tune-able az they are, I think a 4spd. would be a must have to keep the snot blown out of 'um? But thatz just the way my mind workz. And I can never forget to sound of ah Buzzin' Half Dozen at 6-7K on ah 1.2 mile dirt oval lol, Jer

I owned a /6 4 speed car for about 5 minutes.

I bought a Dart Light from a coworker's Dad. The car needed some frame work but was otherwise really nice. I bought it mostly for the inner fenders I needed for a 383 GTS Dart I had. The GTS had been cut up for fenderwell headers. Long story about the GTS... but anyway... A buddy went up with me to drive the car home. I paid for it and he insisted on driving it. We got as far as the first stop sign and he jumped out... Thinking something was wrong, I was shocked when he said "I want this car!". I couldn't say no (he's a good friend) and he bought it. That was around 35 years ago. He fixed the car and still has it! He won a Galen Govier choice award at the Englishtown Mopar show one year too! Glad I sold it to him!

Didn't the provinces agree to change road signage by 77 in 72? I just meant that the process started in the early 70's.

Sorry off topic but Pierre Elliot Trudeau wanted to go metric when the Olympics were announced for Montreal summer 1976. He thought it would be great idea to make the Europeans feel welcome .

My '70 Challenger was a /6 3-speed. Oh how I wish I could have it back!
