That is an incredible color on our beloved full size Mopars. It really makes them stand out and gives them a distinctive look of the luxury car that they are.

Why the delay?? I had my bumpers done in Syracuse,NY cheap and decent turnover time. PM me if you need any help or I may have some spare Newport Custom specific trim leftover it you want it.

Yes I agree.
The original poster can agree with me that this body style may LOOK square but very far from the truth when you block sand all the curves. There are 3 times more concave/convex shapes compared to a Fusey and a Formal

other important projects with the car needs to be taken care of first. it is my driveable refurbishing car. i'm just prioritizing my projects i want to get taken care of each year

when i get my car back i'm getting the heads rebuilt, timing chain, exhaust and maybe upgrade to 15" wheels

that's just for the large projects i still have plenty of small projects under the dash mainly to see if the radio still works and some wiring project for the hvac system mostly override switches for the fan and a/c clutch so i can manually turn them off

Only the New Yorker had the "formal" rear back window for 68. The rest of the 4 door hardtop got the "fastback" style rear window.
I prefer the one year only to Chrysler small rear window feature despite poor sealing and typical water leaks and rot found on the trunk.

On the four door hardtops, the smaller rear window was first seen on the 67 Fury.
Dodge and Chrysler got it for 68. They were installed using the butyl sealing onto the window frame. They always leaked.

Imperial and the 68 New Yorker shared the more upright larger window which was old school and required the gasket to install. FYI

which i totally have (errrrr hopefully had) that leakage (taken care of)

body shop guy says it's also around the lower trim below the window too, last year i had that window fixed. it leaked on the lower trim area as well

the good news is when he went back to fixing my bondoed area around the trunk lip that i repaired (my first time bondoing) he was surprised at the quality work i did ^_^
