The other thread got me to thinking and wondering what everyone here on the board would own if Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth/Desoto/ Imperial never happened.

Everything I prefer would be in convertible form first, then two door hard top.
I found myself liking the Fords better .... then again, maybe not.

1967 Ford Galaxie 500
1970 Ford Torino
1968 Chevrolet Impala
1969 Chevrolet Impala
1972 Chevrolet Impala
1964 Ford Galaxie

Might be leaning a little too Blue Oval here but...
I've wanted one since i was 12. Most beautiful automotive body design in my opinion. One of these days...

Always liked these.

And for old times sake... '86 was my favorite year of the Fox Body Mustangs. Fun little cars!

Pontiac. They had awesome body styles through the '50s '60s and '70s.

When I was younger big cars where in. I had a `74 Buick Electra 225, a`74 Buick Park Ave, and a`75 Oldsmobile 98. But I never had one of these.800px-Cadillac_fleetwood_1969.jpg

Oldsmobiles and Buicks for me. Never cared for Chevys. The '67 full-size Chevy maybe, if you put a gun to my head, because of the instrument panel, best one Chevy ever made. I always liked the '64 fullsize Ford for some reason, and the '67/'68 Mustang/Cougar, but in general Ford interiors were a step behind the competition (still are to this day).

A 1967 AMC Ambassador Convertible would be first choice.

preach on brother........i've owned 2 of them! Favorite hardtop would be a '68 Ambassador SST.........would already have one were I not wasting all this time looking for a polara rag.

Don't torture yourself Mark.

how do you mean specifically?

I like torture........got married, then had kids, and of course, the car hobby. i'm obsessive-compulsive to some degree when it comes to certain things. Problem is, there is nothing like taking the car out for a spin, with nobody else in it, windows (and top, if applicable) down, listening to the radio. I could be in a rotten mood, but it won't affect me while I'm cruising. nothing else seems to do that for me.

Just going through the pics of the sold cars seems to be aching. With me it's different, when I sold one it's completely over, no looking back, no regrets. Most oftenly I keep them though.

I still have the hubcaps from my 68 DPL in the garage. They are the same as the ones on the black 67 convertible.

so your dpl was ordered with a few options.....have never seen a 68 dpl with turbocast from the factory, very few ordered with them.

No, I am getting better with that.......no matter what I got rid of, there is always something gorgeous out there that I want, so it's very easy to clear my mind when I have a car. I only miss a few of my cars.........and it's not so much the cars, but the memories i have of the times when I owned them.
