My buddy Captain Kirk. That nova is his pride and joy. He’s doing his part for the hobby. In that car are his dad and son. Pretty cool father son and grandson all taking in the show. His brother in laws Chrysler powered Rod is pretty nice too!

Great pictures Ed! Thanks for posting them. While we were in Socal for Fall Fling a couple weeks ago we ate at Pinks Hot Dogs on Wilshire. Excellent dogs for sure!

Thanks Chris. That place is an institution. I thought it was funny to have half an hour wait for In n Out and poor Pinks was only hearing crickets. My nephew braved the lines and did In n Out for breakfast lunch and dinner. I had a double for breakfast but later on I snuck over there...

That’s a wrap. We took my nephew to one of the west coasts best kept secrets for breakfast today and then got him back on a plane to Az. Wheesh I am whooped. My poor brother has to pack up the family today (bad elbow and all ), to head up to Stockton for Thanksgiving. Me I’m just glad it’s a short week next week.

Summerland cafe just south of Santa Barbara in the tiny town of summerland is well worth a stop if you’re ever in the SB area.

Thanks for the photos, but could you dial down the color saturation just a bit?
Ok. I’ll work on that, sorry did I burn your retinas ???? I guess I didn’t consider how they’d look on a real monitor so I cranked the light and they looked better to me but that’s just on my phone. Here is side by side. They just look so dark - what do you think???

Wow it looks better to me bright but you’ve got a point, sure lose a lot of fine detail.

To me it's so bright as to make it appear unreal or fake. I hadn't realized the actual detail lost until you manipulated that image. Really, you can do whatever you want with your photos, it may just be that I'm getting more crotchety in my old age than I had realized..... :wideyed:

I ran your picture through Photoshop to get this, a little brighter, just enough to open up the midrange shadows. Smart phones have completely different screen designs. My computer screens have all been color corrected so that images appear the same on each monitor and when printed using color corrected printers. What all this means is every screen will show a picture differently unless color calibrated.

I post em for all you guys so if they look washed out on a computer screen I’m defeating what I’m trying to do LOL !!!

Gotcha. I’ll run em as is and let god sort em out. They’re just really dark on my phone. Did you guys get a load of that hemi under glass footage I posted that my brother took??? Holy smoke that guy really saved it !!!!

Keep them coming, I love the pictures!
The guy driving the Hemi under Glass is amazing, not many guys could drive all the way down the track like that and even fewer could recover the wiggle at the end. I guess its endless practice and a lot of wrecked cars!!
