My favourite JB Weld testimony was on a BSA motorcycle that a coworker had
Back in the early 70’s it threw a rod out the crankcase
Richard couldn’t get a block due to lack of funds and availability so he made a patch of masking tape and JB Weld to cover the hole not expected to last very long but after about 20 years gone by riding his bike it was still holding
It fortunately was in a nonstress part of the block which likely helped
