If I have a kickdown linkage from 1973 360 V8 with Holley 2210 2 bbl, which seems a fairly wide carb, will that kickdown linkage also work on a 4bbl if I use a spread bore factory intake and a thermoquad? Thanks, Ben

"Width" is not really the issue, it is the new location of the 4bbl's primary barrels and related throttle/kickdown linkage attachment point.

Just an observation,

I do this all the time. If you’re not afraid to tweak or bend the stuff it’ll work ok. That’s my 40+ years of making 2 to 4 swaps. The main issue w a kickdown not being long enough (not enough throw) is if you raise the carb w a spacer or 2to4 adapter. You’ll get it done !!!!

Good luck w the swap - post pics LoL!!!

Glad it's possible that the 2 bbl linkage could work (with a little tinkering). I do not want to use a spacer with a factory intake.
