Late Model Drivetrain

There has been a vendor at Chryslers at Carlisle that does these conversions. He had a 70ish Dodge C body with a late model engine.

I really didn't get any details or look things over too well. It was nothing fancy, but it looked OK at a quick glance.

I did the reasearch on actually mounting a late Hemi into a 65. I totally forgot that Magnumforce has a new boxed front end system for 65 and above. Carries a $5400 price tag. Looks like it comes with the oil pan and headers which solves two other challenges. Kit includes a brake system, coil over shocks which solves the torsion bar length issues.

There's a Moparts member that's doing a C body using the Magnumforce so it will be interesting to talk with him on where his project is at
