I was reading the red Cordoba thread (spousal approval and such) and I had to think how lucky I got when I met my wife, almost 10 years ago now...

I just clipped a couple screen shots of a texts we exchanged over the last 24 hrs.

In this one, I'm asking how she "got out" because I left a car blocking her in with a weak battery (to be fair, I leave at 4:45 AM). She solved the problem herself after seeing me use a jump box a dozen times. "Shoveled Linda's" refers to the damn blizzard and our tenant down the street...

So in conclusion, I lucked into a hard-working, non-prima-donna, car-smart, kind-hearted, woman with a sense of humor (rare) C-body loving woman.

Ok fess up what did you buy and haven’t told her yet...

Naw, trust me I'm in a sell-mode. I want to work on my '61 Imperial and have even toyed with selling the Polara Sundance now that it's a safe roller...

My wish list for this year; enclosed space and deep pockets.

That's another reason. I sold my '66 Imperial convertible (which I really liked) after just a year because all my indoor spots are filled with stuff I can't leave outside, like my '51/'61 imps. And one of those is in another state, which means it hasn't been driven in literal years. That just seems dumb.

Plus I'm sick of deferring things I want (like a lift) until we buy our "real" house. Every new project just puts that off a bit more.

As my better half implies, I've bought a few things just because I didn't want to see them destroyed ('68 300, '76 Royal Monaco, '69 Imperial, and many more). Chrysler might be paying me, but it's not to run a shelter... otherwise I wouldn't be posting this at 4 AM.

Sounds like a good lady, you got lucky to find such a good enabler.

That's usually my move...

Yeah I'm pretty happy with my Soul Mate too even if I do come off like ah snivelling wimp in some of my postingz. We met while we were both chasing degree's at EMU in Ypsilanti, Mi. on the 15th of October and got Married 10 weeks later on the 29th of December and been thru' a lot together since 1962, and I wouldn't be half the man I am without her love and guidance I'm proud to say.

Met and married 10 weeks later, still together after almost 56 years?!? Amazing.

My wife loves the classics. Have to give her credit where credit is due. She put the rear and front bumpers on the Charger with the help of her little girlie hydraulic jack while I was at work. She out bowls me, shoots better golf than me, loves watching football and hockey. I got me a good one. I'm screwed if she ever leaves cause I'm not sure where all the money is......:D

You guys are very lucky. If you are really happy, walk in with a dozen roses, and a "I love you", for no reason. Works wonders.
