Hey all,

I'm looking for instructions to install a roof rack on my '69 Polara Wagon, My wagon didn't come with one from factory but I've sourced one that I'd like to install and I want to make sure it's correctly placed before I bolt it in.

I found this image from a listing for a NOS roof rack by @73 Polara Wagon but it's pretty unreadable.

Does anyone have this document either physical or digital that they could share?
Or provide me with dims that I can go off?

Thanks in Advance,

I trust that you have reached out to @73 Polara Wagon and asked him who bought the P/N 3720731 luggage rack kit (with the instruction set) shown in this thread?

Perhaps the new owner could scan the instructions for you? Or maybe the seller still has the original photos (unfortunately, FCBO downsamples them upon uploading).

I should be able to get you dimensions for where to drill the holes.

There are two different roof racks. Which one do you have?

Jeff

I have had wagons with and without roof racks. I would not install a rack on a wagon that did not come with one, due to noise and fuel mileage. I also think a slick top fuselage wagon looks great smooth.

They came off this wagon -

I’ll think about it some more, but just having the roof racks mocked up on the roof, I like it better with it on.

I'll check into it as soon as I can. Might be a little while, since things are pretty busy for me right now.
