You'd have to punch a bunch of louvers to break even. My friends dad made one similar in style for under $100, has the right dies so the louvers are smooth on the punched edges. Some hacks want $5 a louver and they look like absolute garbage. But it looks cool when your hood had 120 louvers in it!
