Have you ever had one of those days where you would rather have a colonoscopy than go back to work?

Yes, Every day since the 22nd of March 2003. The last day I took an order from anyone 'cept the lord. They call it RETIREMENT, and the "W" word is ah very nasty four letter word, Jer

I seriously need to go back to work for just one week again to refresh my memory on why I retired.
All the unbearable crap is fading from memory and I need a wake up call.

Pretty sure I would much rather work than have anything in or around my ***.

I go to work to take my mind off of wishing that some of my family would catch on fire and run 100 yards into a piranha infested river...:drowning:

.... :thinker: ....

I hear ya Jer..... My cars represent a lot of Blood, sweat and tears..... and not that many checks. If I wanted something I pretty much had to do it myself.
The 61 Fury convertible will likely be my last big effort and i'm already suffering sticker shock at some of the services that will be required and are beyond my skill level.
I never in a million years thought I would concider spending $1600.00 to repair a steering wheel.

I want to be politically correct but is that a guy thing? Over the age of 50, you should have one. Just wanted to make the comparison. I can honestly say that this has been my worst week in a long time. It's true "nurse's eat their own". Going outside to figure out how to make lemonade out of lemons.

I'd really like to retire.

Gotta find someone to buy the business......

Even our old standbys like Murray, Wildcat, Hiltopap are starting to get us to have to bend over.
I know it's not their fault.

I enjoy what I do, don't really have a set lunch time, I take my lunch when I get a chance, The boss and Co-worker usually join me at some point,

When I do "retire" I plan to do some side work at home, specialize in what I love.

Nick

I know too many people who retired and died shortly after from becoming inactive. (going from working 50 hours a week to sitting at home doing nothing)
