Max wheel size 68 LeBaron

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere. Search feature turned up nothing, but that could be user error. Have any of you already calculated max (or best other than factory steel wheels) wheel & tire width for 68 LeBaron?

Factory tire size should have been 9.15x15, which would equate to P235/75R-15 in modern sizes. Wheels should have been 15x6, as I recall. Imperial wheels had a different bolt circle from normal C-bodies, I believe.

thread above is too big to go through easily, and their arent that many 67-68 Imps there with NON-OEM wheels/tires IF you're considering that direction.

but something 29 inches max in diameter, 8 inch rim width, maybe 9-10 inch section width, 4.0-4.5 inch backspacing .. I would guess .. is biggest NON-OEM wheel/tire combo you could fit WITHOUT modifying the car to create more clearance.

You need 5x5 bolt spacing as well which might constrain your choices a bit.
