My 68 Plymouth Fury III Project...

Kool car. You're saying somebody converted it to the Budd 4 piston brakes?

Not real sure. Pretty sure these are centric calipers that use the D10/S732 pads. , Casting numbers on the calipers are SH9C 91521.

The calipers are still available through Centric, but now have a new catalogue number, and after speaking with a tech at Centric it turns out that they do not make the pads for them anymore. Kind of strange to sell the caliper if tje pads are unavailable.. hmphh..

Where did you find pads for 35 bucks a set?? Thankfully my rotors still have plenty of thickness left on them and these old asbestos pads don't wear out rotors like today's metallics.

Believe it or not i found them on ebay.. i think the guy was just trying to dump everything cheap and fast.. he had a bunch of new/old GM stuff still in original packaging. Guess i lucked out.
The other set is still unconfirmed, but will know by Monday morning. From a oem parts warehouse here in Chicago. Hoping he has them so i have a spare set.

I just paid 99 bucks for the new olds that I posted a pic of earlier. Thankfully it included shipping...

Updates:
Got both cars moved successfully to Iowa and immediately started in on getting "Greenie" on the road.
"Ol' Red" is mostly stripped at this point and is ready for a buyer who needs structural parts.
Engine and transmission have finally been pulled and I am currently doing a minor overhaul.
It's nice to finally have access to correct tools and my own garage/man cave to get this project on the ball.
As time and money permits, hopefully after all is said and done I will have done:
New 727Specialist transmission.
Rebuilt 906 heads, new springs, lifters, cam, valves.
High velocity oil pump, new fuel pump and regulator, edelbrock carb & performer intake, new Lokar throttle cable and kickdown cable kit, aluminum water pump & housing, plus a four core aluminum radiator.
TTI headers with copper reusable gaskets, 3inch exhaust with flow master stainless steel mufflers.
Wilwood disc brake kits front and rear with new booster, master cylinder, rustproof flexible lines.
Interior:
New dash pad cover, seat covers, heat/sound insulation, new carpet, new headliner, courtesy dome light, under dash lighting, all led replacement dash lighting, etc.
Tons of other little things I'm working on. A never ending process.
Need to sandblast/powdercoat my cop rims eventually.
Body work and paint will come at a later time.
For now my little rat rod project seems to be going well.
Enjoy!
