Sunday was a big day..
Drove the BoaB to Toronto and back for its maiden voyage out of town.
Not just anywhere either.
Destination was the very same driveway I towed her away from and to show her to the previous owner,Terry.
he kept the car from 1970 til I bought her in 2005

Here is Terry,the 2nd owner with his "old classic car"

Terry was hiding the tears since he had not seen the car since 2005.
The last time the car looked this good was like 1970 all over again when he bought her.

Kudos go out to my bud Jamie.
He was with me back in 2005 when we looked at the car and bought it.

Along for the ride was Dexter!!

We took Terry for a ride to get a pizza.
He cannot remember the last time he sat in this car!!!

Back to the house and after we ate,I presented a photo album of the BoaB's restoration to Terry as a gift.

Gotta Love a good rider like Dexter, and Jamie. Nice to keep the former owners in the loop.

Here I am showing the original dealer tag where Terry bought the car and the repop I had especially made.
Terry confirmed the Boab was bought by him at West End Chrysler in Weston Ontario 1970.

The Boab sat in this driveway unlicensed from 1987 to 2005.
He was forced to get rid of the car due to a bylaw that you cannot keep an unlicensed vehicle on your property.
Today she has valid tags,runs and drives.
We did not overstay our welcome should the bylaw officer got wind of the car being back in Terry's driveway,LOL!!

I have to thank Maggie who also rode shogun.She found the shirts that are similar to the BoaB's paint,LOL!

In short,I promised Terry to show the car when it was done.
He held onto the car all those years wanting to fix it up.
I did what he was not able to do.
Showing the car to Terry on its very first road trip was important to me and the car.
Terry's approval and blessing now makes it official that the BoaB is ready for more road trips and car shows.
Maggie and Dexter will be riding with me to Carlisle in July!!
