New Here! Pics

There’s a few gadgets mounted to the dash. 3-4 eight track players and this odd black box with a knob left of the steering wheel

Nice ride, looks to be a very solid car, a little elbow grease, a little of this and that and you have a nice driver! Thanks for saving her and getting her back on the road.

Update on both cars...
The 70 Fury has been getting the golden treatment. Bunch of new parts gas tank, sending unit, carb & intake, rear end rebuild with different gears, cam and lifters.

The 72 Newport now runs. The timing was way off and had a belly full of bad gas. She purrs like a kitten now but due to covid I can’t put her on the road yet!

Nice job! Thanks for getting her back on the road. I am going to be doing the same thing with my Imperial on the gas tank and sending unit.

Nicely loaded Newport Custom, with what seems to be an intact washer bottle and a great interior too. Would love to see the tag posted in The 1972 Chrysler Thread to contribute to the informal registry started a few months ago.

Meanwhile, I see a partial decode on the phone screenshot you posted -- your EA9 is loaded!

Quick comments:
1. it's not N53 but H53. I had never seen a 1972 Newport with AutoTemp!
2. the car has N88 cruise control -- does it work?
3. the interior is the D4X9 split bench in black vinyl, not DAX9.
Look forward to more pics!

PS: Your Newport Custom is a 1972, so if the A/C does not work you have a hope to fix it. It is not cheap, but once fixed it is my understanding that it will work for the foreseeable future (unlike the 1969-1970 setup).

Nice stuff here I am really enjoying your progress on these nice cars. I am jealous as hell cause I wished I had a lift. Could do so much more myself that way.
