I’m a new member with a ‘65 Sport Fury convertible - 383-2bbl. I posted more details in the Welcome section but will be spending my time here. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone. Ben

Awesome car. Love seeing another one of these 65 or 66 Plymouth’s especially convertibles. Plus considering it’s a 4spd that’s a bonus. Too bad it wasn’t a 4bbl.

Welcome aboard. That really is a great car, especially with the 4-speed. As Mario Andretti so well put it, "Automatics are for those who like to be driven; manuals are for those who like to drive."
We '65 SF guys are rather few and far between so keep in touch.

Welcome aboard from WI. Nice car too by-the-way. It looks a lot like mine except for the extra pedal.

Thanks for the nice comments. It would be nice to have the higher hp 383-4 or a 426, but not enough to monkey with its originality. It was the manual transmission that sold me. I’m really surprised at how little it “floats.” The suspension is quite firm. I’m used to old GM cars with soft springs.

Nice car! I ahd a chancde to buy one with a hardtop and 426 Street Wedge, 4-speed, back in 2003. Still kick myself for not trying to do so.

Very nice welcome to the site. Awesome color combination and a 4 speed, what is not to love!

I considered upgrading mine because it has the poly 318 but then after driving it I realized it’s plenty good enough. These are incredibly nice to drive especially with the top down, it just floats down the highway. It dawned on me that I don’t need a power house when I can just enjoy cruising so much, but that’s not to say I wouldn’t mind it either.

Nice car and welcome. 4 speed vert must be very rare. Congrats!

In the sixties there were still lots of people that liked to drive manual transmissions. I don't think you needed to be a high performance person to enjoy driving a 4-speed. That is a nice car.
