I've had a couple of those trucks and they are real workhorses. The problem is they have straight front axles and usually manual steering. They ride like lumber wagons and are a bear to park.

I still love them though......

Now that's a fine farm truck! I want it so bad I can taste it!

They used this sweepspear bed for quite some time, still some 50s reminiscences on an early 70s truck.

I always keep my eyes open for a nice Dude.

Remindz me of a mid '60s a friend had back then but hiz was a quad cab. We'd take it into the hillz west of Denver in the fall when it waz time to go hurt Bambie. We had to make "Y" turnz on more then one switchback with that puppy. Ah the memoryz

Dodge management only authorized 50 trucks could be built with the 426 Street Wedge High Performance Package — according to former Dodge truck engineer Bruce Thomas of the Walter P. Chrysler Museum, who said that far fewer than 50 examples were actually produced. Currently the registry recognizes 31 trucks with these packages or combinations of them.

Good luck if you'd like to find one; I had ideas about this model before as well. :)

I have no interest in owning one but I figured the production number would be low. I am surprised there were that many

NO..... They don't.

Yeah..... The manual steering makes them a bear in a tight spot.
My 64 D200 Crewcab is one of the best riding trucks i've owned. I bought it in Utah and drove it over 2000 miles home...... A four day trip and was not fatigued at all.
