I hope he's taking a well earned sabbatical away from cars for a while.

I hope so too! At the same time I hope he gets the car going for the trip he wants to take in it coming up.

Ross has been pretty quiet lately too...

I'm Alive pops! Glad to see I have fans, or you guys groupies? Do they have C body groupies?

I haven't been working on the Fury for the last little while, Trying to sort a few things out still, I need an indoor space, that's the naked truth.

And Matt, The Nurses got ugly and old, different Rehab this time, I had to go elsewhere, tried out the college, was pleasantly surprised, then it quickly didn't work out, story of my life, shame too, she liked when I said things like E44, and M4W, W1, F8, oh well. Moving on.......last week me and old Rocky Cheyenne were out for a drive on a Thursday night when two young women in a Lexus tried to pick us up, something about "Your hot" was hard to try and have a conversation and watch the lights at the same time.

Gave me and the truck a little kick to the ego we needed.

Anywho Been spending a lot of time tinkering with Rocky, he is my primary transportation, so he needs to be able to go to California if I one day decide (yes that's how I think,
Is this safe enough to make a 2,500 mile trip tomorrow?")

So I got rid of all the rattles, did an oil change, new rear shoes, cut the drums, checked the fronts (still 3/4 pad after 10 years and 132,000 kms) , checked the front end (need bearings), figured out the shake in the front end (Warped rotors), finally after a huge fight got my transmission issues straightened out. Also gave it a good clean up inside and out.

"Women come and go, but a truck you can depend on" ( I had a bumper sticker that said that)

At your age you are not supposed to meet the right women.

Glad to see you are still here......

I'd give my left leg to get a lift in my garage, or any covered space that I had unfettered 24 hr access to. Dream on, dream on...

Ive got the space and the height. A $5000. lift takes money from the cars that i dont have

You can get yourself into a brand new one that does what you need it to for $2,500, especially if you go pick it up and install it yourself.
glad to see you're still hangin in there Nick, been a long winter!

Who makes one in the USA. I almost garantee that if somebody does it'll still be less than 3K.

I always have an eye on Craigslist and when I am ready for one I will start there but the new ones aren't that much more.
