1957 Dodge D500 Convertible. Dual Carb 325 Hemi New Top Loaded Nice

Turn key car. Very rare to find one of these D500 models. This is an all original car with push button automatic trans. Swivel Power Seats. Rust free.
Just installed premium custom canvas top. Power top works like new. Very impressive chrome around the windows.
The pictures speak for the car. The only reason for the lower price is because the paint has some minor scratches.
Here is a chance to own an almost "one of a kind."Classic big fin ride.

Looks like a very nice car.

Must be a mixed batch of pictures. One picture has a flex hose for top radiator and another picture has a preformed or modified hose.

It needs some help but this would be a $100K+ car done right. Not sure the selling price justifies the final value though. It needs paint, engine and engine bay detailing (at the least), correct interior, new chrome (appears to be some pitting in some of the pics) and the stainless polished. If that's the original color combo, it's not all that desirable. IMO, these cars need to be two tone.

engine is a Chrysler Hemi, 354 or 392, quite different than the Dodge 325 that should be used on the car. ALso, the swivel seats were not available on a 57. Seat pattern is not correct, too. It has been for sale for ages....

Some trim is missing as well and to have a hemi 354 engine, this car would have to be a D501, not a D500. It is very likely a clone and therefore a fake D500 at best. Therefore not worth the money. Nice try by the seller though. It has been sale for quite some time.

I've requested the Fender Tag from the seller and will post if I receive it. Steve, do you know the seller?

It's hard to tell, there are no underbody pics to show the condition of the belly of this beast.
It could be a patch work of metal underneath.

Usually sellers omit the real ugly to draw a buyer in then break the bad to them and see if they will still bite.
