BEAUTIFUL 1965 CHRYSLER 300 L 2 DOOR CONVERTIBLE - FLORIDA CAR
History: This car was purchased at Gateway Classic Cars in Fort Lauderdale, Florida 3 years ago and driven all the way back to Lethbridge, Alberta trouble free. There is not a mark or scratch anywhere on this car. Runs and drives beautifully! Odometer reads 25273 miles – which could be the original miles.
Body: Laser straight with factory gaps. Tinted windshield is like new with no marks. Beautiful paint and likely the original colour.
Frame/Chassis/Suspension: Stock with front sway bar and rear leaf springs with coil over shocks.
Engine: 413 CID with 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetor. Not sure if numbers matching (likely is).
Trans: Stock 727 - 3 speed automatic. Differential: Stock with unknown gears. Exhaust: Dual period correct. Brakes: Drum front and rear with rebuilt brake booster.
Wheels: American Racing 17 inch. Tires: BF Goodrich Silvertown Radials 225 55R 17 front and rear in new condition (maybe 5000 miles).
Interior: Original in very nice condition. No rips or tears. Buckets and console.
Options and Special Features: Power steering and brakes. Original AM radio. Factory vacuum gauge on console.
Known issues: Minor oil, transmission and differential leaks from not driving the car. Transmission does not hold in Park when on a slope. Radio and clock do not work. Convertible top goes down nice and quietly but stalls part way up – may need more hydraulic fluid – not used much. Slight vibration at 100 km per hour – may need a wheel balance. Rear bumper may need to be aligned – just a bit down on the passenger side. Reason for selling: Using the money elsewhere.
