anyone close enough to put eyes on it?
I was not suggesting derby status. At the asking price, this car needs to be in very good condition. Agreed, eyes need to be on this car. If it is a native CA car, it is not likely to be a rust bucket, but one should always verify because there are a lot of bondo buckets out there that have premium asking prices. Some of them wind up being sold in CA. Folks who do not have a lot of experience with older cars get screwed like that every day. I hope that this is a nice rust free car as it is a nice example of a '70 Polara that will make somebody a fun car, but one always needs to verify condition.Dave, all due respect, why do you always presume the worst? Ive replaced bad sending units while keeping a good solid gas tank with no gum.
A replaced trunk floor in no way tells me the quarters were toast. It tells me the trunk had water intrusion that went uncared for.
Let's get eyes on it first before you devalue it to derby status, ok?
You joined FB?????I posted questions without a response. Now there are two FCBO sandbaggers over there talking **** about the value of C bodies ( because they're the best evaluators).
