I think every Chrysler car built from 1956 to 1964 had the push-button gear selector.

Unless it was equipped with bucket seats and a console. Most of them had a shift lever in the console. (63-64). I love the push button selector. Almost bullet proof and easy to adjust. No linkage bushings to wear out.
The scuttlebutt is that women were breaking finger nails, so long to the push buttons.

It looks like the push buttons or the selector unit are bungled to some degree.

This ad might be worthy of a post in the running "Craigslist ribbing" thread here....but at least there's more than a couple photos..........and no hose.
