O gauge Trains

Great work Zack! We were spending some time in Frederick MD with friends yesterday, and we went to see a small display at the center of town.

Then on to the main display, LOL.

Damn! That is bad ***!! Those are some big sky scrapers. Love the royal hotel! Wish I had room for something like that!

I putzed around a little today. Mainly getting the train station set up, after getting the tables back together.

My MTH New York Central finally decided to come to life today. Love this engine, but damn is it a pain lol. Good to see it traveling the rails again. It’s probably been 10 years since it last moved.

Was playing with the camera...

You don't have time for trains. There's a new truck out there waiting for your attention.

My Dad was given a 1940's lionel set with lots of accesories back in the 70s when he was a kid. When I was really young, we would get the set out every once in a while and play with them. Fond memories. I still have the set boxed up in the top of my closet. I haven't had them out in a few years.

Knowing how much of a trailer park boys fan I am, my sister found these, and was kind enough to send em to me lol. Have us a little trailer park in the corner. Need to get some ricky, julian, and bubbles figures. A New Yorker would be a nice touch as well!

Also added a little campsite. Not too shabby.

I love the little Chicago Monaco squad car.

Thanks. I’ve had that one for forever on the model shelf. Worked out perfect being the right size.

I picked up a ‘73 fury squad car that is pretty neat on the table. Hard to find c body cars that aren’t emergency vehicles. Theres a couple online over seass, but they are a little more pricey then I wanna pay.

Got some more train goodies for the layout. The sign was a nice ebay find. Had to get it lol.

The pool hall/barber/ice cream shop is a model kit from woodland scenics. Its 80% done. The LEDs showed up today for it. Waiting on a couple more pieces to finish the block off.

Sorry Zac, but the "park" just doesn't look right, you need a shitmobile... and piss jugs.

I know! Been looking for a little above ground pool to fill with bootleg Russian vodka, but no deal. Nothing but in ground pools. Way to fancy for the trailer park.

Then you'll need a "Snurf"...

Then you'll need a "Snurf"...

Lmao. Might have to make one, as I don’t know how available they would be.

Some more of the stuff trickled in. Still don’t have my pedestrians though. Ordered a bag of a 100 of them to fill out the layout. Think this table is almost done. Time to start the expansion. Running out of room....

I have some scale planes you could hang from the ceiling! You just have to assemble and paint them!:poke:

Thanks, but no thanks lol. Im not a model builder... this woodland scenics building was enough for me lol. Still have a couple model cars from forever ago that aren’t finished, and don’t see them getting finished either. Too big of hands, and too little patience.

Dug out the old GoPro, and went for a ride on the rails.
