I have posted several big articles about the restoration of the Oriental Theatre in Milwaukee.
This next article is very huge! They are bringing a historic pipe organ to the Oriental. They originally had one but it was removed and rehomed in 1959.

This is what it sounds like.....
I went to Boys Tech and Trade High School in Milwaukee. When I was a senior one of our teachers was passionate about pipe organs and we were able to procure a pipe organ from one of theatres downtown and move it to our high school. It was either the grand or Riverside Theatre. That was back around 1972 or 1973. I'll have to research what happened to it.
