I recently picked up 67 Dodge Monaco 500 and started on a brake job. I notice my parking brake was not working. What I found was that the strut bar and spring were missing in both rear drums to operate the parking brake.
Does anyone have a spare set or a source ? I've attached a photo of the shop manual showing these parts.
Thanks,
Joe

The strut rods may have been removed because of partially stuck parking brake cables actuating the rear brakes when the pedal is not depressed. I have run into this problem more than once.

Try Craig @mobileparts. He has lots of old stock parts for our cars and is very knowledgeable and great to deal with. Several satisfied customers on this site alone.

I may have extras but chances are strong that your cables are seized. If they’re not too bad you can soak them with a good penetrant and with patience get them moving again. I’ve been lucky with that a couple of times.
