In June 1965, Richmond Plymouth Corp. was ready to open its new 35,000-square-foot circular building at 5300 Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield County. The next day’s ribbon-cutting ceremony featured Irving G. Horner, chairman of the Chesterfield Board of Supervisors, and Richmond Mayor Morrill Martin Crowe.

A few years later they were known as Richmond Chrysler-Plymouth.
My parents bought a dealer demo 1971 Plymouth Satellite from them. I still remember walking the rows of new GTX, Roadrunner, Sebring, and plain Jane Satellites.
Richmond Chrysler-Plymouth changed hands several times beginning with Sam Dell.
The property is now used by Speedy's Transmission and Auto Repair.
